Clawson - The Michigan Credit Union League Action Fund announced its endorsement of State Sen. John Pappageorge for the Michigan Senate. The league’s Board of Trustees voted unanimously to endorse Sen. Pappageorge for the 2010 primary and general elections.
“We should all live our lives by the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people,’” said Pappageorge. “I am honored that the MCULAF recognizes that I always have, and always will, put people first.”
The MCULAF is a political action committee sponsored by the Michigan Credit Union League, a statewide trade association representing 95% of Michigan’s 331 credit unions and their over 4.4 million members. The MCULAF endorses candidates who support their philosophy of “people helping people” and take a similar stance on legislative issues.
This endorsement follows on the heels of two other prominent endorsements Pappageorge announced last week; National Federation of Independent Business/Michigan and Small Business Association of Michigan.
Pappageorge is running for the 13th District seat in the Michigan Senate.
